Why are my prayer times different from my local mosque?

Prayer times vary based on the calculation method used. Go to Settings → Calculation Method and select the method recommended by your local Islamic authority. Common methods include ISNA (North America), MWL (global), and Umm Al-Qura (Saudi Arabia).

How do I calibrate the Qibla compass?

For best accuracy, move your phone in a figure-8 pattern to calibrate the magnetometer. Avoid using the compass near metal objects or electronic devices that may cause interference.

Can I change the Asr calculation method?

Yes! Go to Settings → Madhab (Asr) and choose between Hanafi and Shafi'i/Hanbali/Maliki methods. Hanafi typically has a later Asr time.

Why do I see ads in the app?

How do prayer streaks work?

Tap the circle next to any prayer to mark it as completed. Complete at least one prayer each day to maintain your streak. Your streak resets if you miss a full day without marking any prayers.

The app isn't showing my location. What should I do?

Make sure you've granted location permission to SalatFlow in your device settings. Go to Settings → Apps → SalatFlow → Permissions → Location → Allow while using the app.
